  • Day-01 Day 1: Arrive at Jodhpur → Jaisalmer

    Your Jaisalmer Jodhpur itinerary begins when you set foot in Jodhpur. This city is also known as the Blue City of Rajasthan since many of the houses are painted in shades of blue. You will stroll the city briefly before heading off to Jaisalmer. You will go sightseeing in the Golden City and stay there overnight.

    • You will meet your designated local representative at the airport/railway station/a pre-determined location.
    • You can stroll the lanes of the Blue City and taste delicious local snacks.
    • Then, we go on a short road trip to Jaisalmer. This would be a 5-6 hour drive. On the way, notice the terrain change from rocky hills to desert plains.
    • You will arrive by late afternoon. You will be escorted to your hotel in Jaisalmer.
    • Check into your hotel and rest for a little bit.
    • Our first stop on the tour is Gadisar Lake. This is a 14th-century water reservoir that was the lifeline of Jaisalmer at one point in time. Today, tourists from all over come to relax in this serene location. Beautiful cenotaphs and shrines lie along the banks of the lake.     • Wake up early in the morning so you can explore the sites of Jaisalmer with ease.
    • Check out of your hotel.
    • The first stop of the day is the Golden Fort. It is one of the largest forts in the world. Unlike a lot of forts, it still houses shops, families, and temples.
    • Visit the Jain Temples within the Jaisalmer Fort to marvel at the intricate carvings of the temples. It is a great place to relax for a while and take lots of photos.
    • From there, we visit the nearby havelis. At first, we explore the Patwon ki Haveli. This is a cluster of five mansions, made by wealthy merchant brothers. The details on the havelis will leave you amazed.
    • After that, we visit Nathmal ki Haveli. This mansion is famous for its blend of Rajputi and Mughal architectural styles.
    • Then we go to Salim Singh ki Haveli. This mansion is loved by many for its arching balconies and peacock-shaped roof. This is a great place for cinematic photography.
    • In the afternoon, we go on a short drive to Sam Sand Dunes. It is an hour away from the city. It is a part of the Thar Desert and stores a million secrets of desert life.
